Packing and Tracking
I hate getting ready for trips. I tend to over pack or under pack. I can never figure out what I need. Will it be hot or cold? Argh.. Well, I've got a huge suitcase and it is half full so I can buy lots of stuff!
Our plane doesn't leave until after 6 pm so I had all day to think about everything. Did it help? I doubt it.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to blog. Too bad Reid isn't coming with us so he could keep me educated on this.
We got off on the plane and I was a tad horrified to be nicely situated in my Business Class pod next to a little fellow about 4 years old. There I was thinking this could easily be a long flight. But...what a cutie. The first thing I hear is a wee voice singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I look over and he's singing along to some child's computer thingy. The songs went on, but he was so adorable. Next thing I see he's watching a movie and slowly falling asleep. When landing, he calls out to his dad in the pod in front of him, "Daddy! Do you remember how to undo your seatbelt? I remember, Daddy!" He made the trip. Unfortunately someone a few pods back had a baby who was not nearly so sweet and cried most of the trip. Poor Mom!
In London, we walked along the Thames, saw London Bridge and the Tower of London. I'm exhausted and bed couldn't come fast enough!
