Woke up to news that Tony Blair is being blamed for getting Britain into the Iraq war and that the military equipment was not nearly prepared to the extent necessary.
Glen is off to visit and meet with the Guinness World Records company and I have the day to myself.
Rode the Underground to Covent Gardens and wandered around shopping and "looky-looing." I bought tickets to see Beautiful: the Carole King story. I was a huge fan of hers when her album Tapestry came out and the play was certainly not a disappointment. Apparently, Carole had come recently and sung with the cast. I wasn't lucky enough to see that concert, though. I had no idea about the number of hit songs she had written, largely with her first husband Gerry Goffin.
